Take Action and say "Thank You."Bank of Travelers Rest keeps a neutral position on matters pertaining to politics. But as policy makers in Washington work to increase banks’ required reporting, they are also making a decision that could affect our customers and communities. The proposal before both Houses of Congress would require banks to send detailed reports to the IRS regarding customers’ transactions on accounts that exceed $600.
We encourage you to take an active role in reaching out to your Congressperson. As always, we are here for our customers and communities. Feel free to reach out to us anytime.
