When you are ready to begin your Bank of Travelers Rest consumer loan application, you will need to have a few things on hand.  Below is a detailed list of what you'll need to get started.

To begin the application process, you'll need:

• Identify your closest branch.  If you are uncertain, locate the branch that is most convenient.
• Your Social Security Number (SSN)
• Your date of birth¹.
• Income information.
• A valid physical address in South Carolina, North Carolina or Georgia.

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. 

What this means for you:  When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
